International Day 2018
St Nicholas Primary School, Stevenage, held its 3rd International Day last weekend with an afternoon of food, fun and music…and more food.
The school is very proud of its diverse community which is represented by families from all over the world. Families provided food from different regions of Africa, India, Hungary, Romania, Poland and Ireland to name but a few. Rum punch and a non alcoholic version were very popular and there was a variety of arts and crafts for the children to enjoy. The afternoon was topped off by the school choir singing a medley of songs and there was also an African drumming session.
Everyone left full and happy and looking forward to next year. Next event is the School Disco on the 19th October, followed by the Christmas Fair on the 24th November - All welcome to come along.
